Meetings & EventsThe OSGi Users’ Forum UK holds face to face meetings at locations in the UK every 3 or 4 months throughout the year. The objectives of the meetings are to:
Cost: The meetings are free to attend for registered members. For details on how to become a member please see How to Join. Meeting Registration: Prior registration for meetings is essential as space is strictly limited at the venues. Details of how to regsiter for a meeting can be found with the meeting description in the Meeting & Events Calendar. Places will be allocated on order of registration, so please make sure you sign up early. Registration Cancellations: We recognise that people’s schedules can change at short notice. Please to notify us if you are no longer able to attend a meeting you have registered for, even if it is on the day of the meeting. Times & Locations: The meetings are normally held from 18hr15 to 20hr15 on a week day. The location varies from meeting to meeting. Post Meeting Socialising: Discussion and socialising is encouraged after the meeting at a suitable local pub. Get to meet the presenters and your peers, share ideas, and exhange views over a pint or two. Meeting Format: The meetings typically consist of:
Some meetings will include an ‘Open Floor’ section instead of a presenter to solicit member input, suggestions and feedback on important OSGi Topics. Audience participation is encouraged, the more people get involved in the meetings the more we all benefit.
